Our Media Sport and Entertainment team are really delighted to have been associated with the FT Business of Football Summit in London yesterday. IT was an opportunity to hear from Europe’s leading Leagues and Clubs, and to catch up with a great many clients and friends. A reoccurring theme was the impact of changes to the global sports broadcast market as sport continues to embrace technology, and as sports fans change the way they consume sport. My co-chair and friend Peter White shared some insights, and it was fascinating to hear from Richard Masters, Interim CEO of the Premier League, on how the world’s greatest football league has been able to continue increasing its media rights revenues across the world.
Where does football go from here?
