Looking for leadership

Over past week we have seen may different styles of leadership and expressions of support. From footballers in Europe taking a knee or showing handwritten messages after scoring to Hollywood players using their social media accounts to take a stand. John Boyega making a speech knowing full well this may impact his future followed by the overwhelming promises of collaboration from the entertainment world.

As one provider put it "to be silent is to be complicit".

Great teams have always had great leaders who front up and represent the values of that organisation, whether in sport or the boardroom. There are natural leaders and people naturally look to them.

"The great captains lowered themselves in relation to the group whenever possible in order to earn the moral authority to drive them forward in tough moments. ... The easiest way to lead, it turns out, is to serve."
